Bombay 2 Goa is a fully halal-certified Indian restaurant at 16 Headingley Lane, Leeds LS6 2AS. Every dish on our menu - from Bombay street food starters to our signature Goan coastal curries - is prepared using halal-certified meat sourced from approved suppliers.
What Does Halal Certified Mean?
Halal certification means that all meat and poultry served at Bombay 2 Goa has been slaughtered and processed in accordance with Islamic dietary law. Our supply chain is audited regularly, and we do not serve pork or pork derivatives on our premises. Alcohol is available at our bar for non-halal guests, but it is never used in food preparation.

Our full halal menu spans three distinct culinary traditions. From Mumbai's iconic street food - Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Dabeli, and Pani Puri - to the aromatic coconut curries of Goa's coastline, every dish is made with fresh spices and authentic technique. Our Indo-Chinese menu adds a unique dimension you won't find anywhere else in Leeds.
Popular halal dishes include our Chicken Xacuti (a slow-cooked Goan coconut curry), Lamb Rogan Josh, our signature Butter Chicken, and the Bombay Sev Puri chaat board. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available across the full menu - all naturally halal.

Bombay 2 Goa was founded to change that - to bring the authentic flavours of Bombay and Goa to LS6 in a welcoming, atmospheric setting that the whole community can enjoy.
We're located on Headingley Lane, a short walk from the Headingley cricket ground and easily accessible from Hyde Park, Burley, and Chapel Allerton. Street parking is free after 6pm on surrounding roads.

We're open Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesdays). Weekend tables fill quickly - we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially for groups of 6 or more.
