Growing up in Bombay in the early 80s, with summers spent in Goa where the sea air carried the scent of coconut and spice. The love for India's greatest flavours was inevitable. The lip-smacking Vada Pav tucked into soft pav, Misal Pav bursting with heat, Pav Bhaji on a hot griddle, Samosa Chaat piled high with chutneys.
And then the coastal magic of Goa: Xacuti simmered slow with toasted coconut and Kashmiri chillies, Fish Curry fragrant with regional spices, the warmth of a meal shared on a sun-drenched terrace. Two cities, one extraordinary journey.
That journey now lives at 16 Headingley Lane, Leeds. Every dish we plate is a memory brought to life, authentic, fresh, and made with the same uncompromising passion that started it all.
