Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 7 August 2026

1. Our commitment

Bombay 2 Goa wants everyone to be able to browse our menu, book a table and find us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Under the Equality Act 2010 we have a duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled customers, and we treat this website as part of that.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

2. What we have done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, and interactive elements show a visible focus ring.
  • Dialogs (the cookie banner, the mobile menu, the welcome offer) trap focus, close on Escape and return focus where you left it.
  • Images carry alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have proper labels, and errors are announced to screen readers as they happen.
  • Animations are reduced automatically when your device asks for less motion.
  • Text is sized in relative units so it reflows when you zoom to 200%.

3. Known limitations

We know some parts are not perfect yet:

  • The embedded Google map is provided by Google and we cannot control its internal accessibility. Our address and directions are always available as plain text next to it.
  • Some decorative imagery uses low-contrast overlays that may be hard to read in bright sunlight.
  • PDF or image versions of seasonal menus may not be fully tagged. Ask us and we will read the menu to you or send a plain-text version.

4. Accessibility at the restaurant

If you have access requirements for your visit - step-free seating, space for a wheelchair, a quieter table, a large-print menu, or an assistance dog - tell us when you book, either in the special requests box or by calling 0113 513 5972, and we will do our best to arrange it.

5. Tell us about a problem

If you find something on this site you cannot use, or you need information in a different format, contact us and we will help:

We aim to reply within 5 working days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
